This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and store your personal data when you join a waitlist through QalamList.

2. Data We Collect

When you submit a waitlist form, we collect:

• Email address — the address you provide to join the waitlist
• Approximate location — derived from your IP address (country-level only)
• Technical data — IP address and request metadata, used for security and abuse prevention

We don't collect sensitive personal data like birthdays, government IDs, or financial information.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To manage and operate the waitlist you signed up for
• To send you updates about the product or service
• To prevent spam, abuse, and fraudulent submissions

We never use your data for anything beyond these purposes, and we don't build advertising profiles from it.

4. Legal Basis

If you're in the European Economic Area (EEA), our legal basis under GDPR is consent — you provide your data voluntarily when joining a waitlist. You can withdraw that consent at any time by requesting deletion.

5. Data Storage and Processing

Your data is processed and stored using Cloudflare's infrastructure, including Cloudflare D1 for database storage. These providers may process data in different countries with appropriate safeguards in place.

6. Data Retention

We keep your data until you ask us to delete it, or until the waitlist is no longer active. After that, your data is permanently removed — we don't hold onto it indefinitely "just in case."

7. Sharing of Data

We don't sell your personal data. The only data sharing happens with service providers necessary to run the waitlist (hosting and database). That's it.

8. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access your data
• Request corrections
• Request deletion
• Withdraw consent at any time

9. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data: HTTPS everywhere, access controls, and abuse prevention. No system is perfectly secure, but we do our part to keep your information safe.

10. Cloudflare Turnstile

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect signup forms from bots and automated abuse. Turnstile may set cookies and collect device information for verification. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy for details.
